L'interférence entre les concepts de classe et de catégorie sociale dans la société yéménite

This thesis deals with the role of the ideology in falsification of the class consciousness through tackling the following topics: 1) The overlap between the class position and belonging to the ethnic and the occupational groups. 2) The particularity of Yemeni tribe and the articulation between the tribalism and feodalism. 3) The specific forms of the ideology as the antagonism zaydis shaf is and the antagonism kahtani adnani. The later had resulted from the relation between the zaydi imans and the shaykhs of the tribes and which has two aspects : the unity and the conflict. The rise of the commercial bourgeois, the formation of new classes and the revolution of 26 September 1962 had contributed in the better understanding of the social structure in Yemen. Conclusion: the principal social struggle in Yemen is a class struggle. It is not ethnical or doctrinal struggle. Sometimes the secondry struggle influence that struggle, but could not eliminate it.

Cette thèse traite du rôle de l’idéologie dans la falsification de la conscience de classes. Ceci en étudiant 1) l’interférence entre la position de classe et l’appartenance ethnique et doctrinale. 2) la particularité de la tribu yéménite et l’articulation entre le tribalisme et le féodalisme. 3) les formes spécifiques de l’idéologie tels l’antagonisme zaydite chafiite et l’antagonisme kahtânite adnânite: ce dernier, résultant de la liaison entre les imans zaydites et les cheikhs des tribus, a pris un double aspect unité antagonisme. La naissance de la bourgeoisie commerçante, l’apparition des nouvelles classes et la révolution de 1962, ont aidé à mieux comprendre la structure sociale au Yémen. Conclusion: la lutte sociale principale au Yémen, est une lutte de classes et non pas une lutte doctrinale ou ethnique. Les contradictions secondaires peuvent parfois l’influencer mais elles ne peuvent l’annuler.
