L'instauration platonicienne de la philosophie comme métaphysique

This research attempts to display and deepen into the matter of the platonic philosophy as metaphysics, from a phenomenological point of view, as far as it becomes necessary for us to enlighten what remains non-said, that is, what remains veiled and hidden in the philosophy of Plato: the dimension of the fundamental determinations of the being. Following the narration thread of the question on philosophy, the research gets articulated in two main parts: the first part aims the platonic determination of philosophy as eros, the «transport» towards the being of what-is (Symposium, Phaedrus), and the second part aims the platonic determination of philosophy as lysis, the « liberation » for the being of what-is (Phaedo, The republic). At the end, the research leads to the question of the two-fold determination of the being underlying to the platonic experience of philosophy: the being in the horizon of the manifest-ness (alêtheia, to kalon) and the being in the horizon of the stability (aei on, to agathon). The platonic foundation of philosophy as metaphysics is therefore announced as the secret and silent event of the retreat of the alêtheia in favour of the aei on.

La présente recherche tâche de déployer et d’approfondir la question de la philosophie platonicienne comme métaphysique, et ce dans une perspective phénoménologique, dans la mesure où il s’agit pour nous de mettre expressément en lumière ce qui reste non-dit, c’est-à-dire recouvert et occulte dans la philosophie de Platon : la dimension des déterminations fondamentales de l’être. Au fil conducteur de la question de la philosophie, la recherche s’articule en deux parties principales : la première partie visant la détermination platonicienne de la philosophie comme eros, le « transport » vers l’être de l’étant (Banquet, Phèdre), et la deuxième partie visant la détermination platonicienne de la philosophie comme lusis, la « libération » pour l’être de l’étant (Phédon, République). La recherche aboutit finalement à la question de la double détermination de l’être sous-jacent à l’expérience platonicienne de la philosophie : l’être dans l’horizon de la manifesteté (alêtheia, to kalon) et l’être dans l’horizon de la stabilité (aei on, to agathon). L’instauration platonicienne de la philosophie comme métaphysique s’annonce dès lors comme l’événement secret et silencieux du retrait de l’alêtheia en faveur de l’aei on.
