In this investigation, we deal with the singularity of michel henry's materialistic phenomenology as it originates from its phenomenological "requirements". Keeping in mind such requirements we present the specificity of a reading of contemporary phenomenology stemming from materialistic phenomenology. This hermeneutic work let us progressively interrogate materialistic phenomenology itself according to its own characterization of phenomenology. Moreover we point at some sentences that go perhaps beyond this characterization. But, when we point at what would be an excess, other openings arise. These are primarily related to the history of philosophy. Materialistic phenomenology would enable to be open toward the originality of some "moments" of the history of philosophy. We try to test such a working hypothesis with a specific "sequence", the thought of master eckhart.

Dans cette recherche, nous tentons de ressaisir la singularite de la phenomenologie materielle de michel henry a partir de ses propres imperatifs phenomenologiques. Cela nous permet de degager la specificite d'une lecture de la phenomenologie contemporaine a partir de la phenomenologie materielle. Ce travail d'interpretation nous amene a interroger la phenomenologie materielle elle-meme selon sa propre caracterisation de la phenomenologie, et a pointer certaines phases textuelles qui outrepasseraient peut-etre cette caracterisation. Neanmoins, alors meme que nous pointons ce qui serait de l'ordre d'un exces, surgissent d'autres potentialites. Celles-ci concernent prioritairement l'histoire de la philosophie. La phenomenologie materielle permettrait d'etre attentif a l'originalite de certains " moments " de l'histoire de la philosophie. Nous tentons de mettre a l'epreuve une telle hypothese a travers une " sequence " precise, la pensee de maitre eckhart.
