The immigration of north africain people to the west has affected their respecteeve countries in their relations with france we propose, in this thesis, to see the immigration question in the maghrebian roman written in french. The causes of travel, the arrival of the immigrant in a new word, the first contacts with another culture, the relations with the others were the most important subjects of our analysis. We will see how an islamic-arabic immigrant evolved in a country totally different to him.

L emigration des nord-africains vers l occident a marque l histoire de leurs pays respectifs dans ses relations avec la france. Nous proposons, dans cette these, de voir la question de l emigration dans le roman maghrebin d expression francaise. Les causes du depart, l arrivee de l emigre dans un monde nouveau, les premiers contacts avec une autre culture, les rapports a l autre retiennent notre attention. . . Nous verrons comment un emmigre d origine arabo-musulmane evolue dans un milieu totalement different du sien.
