La syntaxe des relatives et des adjectifs en arabe standard : mouvement et dependance

This thesis is on relative and adjective constructions in arabic. Within the government and binding framework, an analyse was proposed to describe many syntactic phenomena in thiqs language, namely, arabic. The thesis involves five chapters: the first deals with the structure of arabic sentence. The second and the third are mainly concerning the restrictive and free relatives. Both of these hold the same analysis. The fourth treats adjectival constructions; the verb and the adjective are analysed to have the same raising and hierarchal structure. All these phenomena were describedon the basis of many contrainte and principles in the chomskian framework such as barriers, head movement, control, binding. . . . .

Le present travail est consacre a l'etude des constructions relatives et asjectivales en arabe standard. Il se presente comme suit : un chapitre consacre a la structure de la phrase en arabe, ou sont exploitees plusieurs hypotheses nouvelles. -un chapitre consacre a la relative restrictive. -un chapitre consacre a la relative libre. Dans ces deux derniers, on a presente un systeme pour analyser ces structures. On a justifie qu'elles ne sont pas formees par mouvement et qu'il y a une operateur abstrait qui controle la position relativisee -enfin, un chapitre ou sont analyses tous les adjectifs en arabe. On a aussi montre que les adjectifs et les relatives peuvent subir la meme analyse.
