Abstract EN:

After the presentation of the author and of his work, the matter is brought into light : it consists in an analysis of t he theme of revolution in c. Simon's work. An opposition structures this subject : to repete to innovate. This opposition organizes as well the theorical examinati on about revolution (and forms the first part of the thesis) as the simonian way of writing (object of the study of the second part of the thesis). 1st part : the history of the word and of the concept of revolution allows the introduction of the differents theories on revolutionary phenomenon. Marx, the functionnalists, arendt and the psychosociology constitute the cardinals points o f the frame of reference in relation to each will be examined the theme. 2nd part : the analysis of the thematical network (social order, revolutionary project, revolution, revolutionary characters and post revolution) shows that, due to the omnipresent violence, c. Simon moves from history to myth. The paradox lays on in this reversing of historical innovation in a historical repetition of archaical scenario. The gone down revolution (devalued myth of the left) opens the way to a contest of meaning and allows to find the only w ay to be authentically revolutionary : the novelist writing renewed.
