Les verbes de communication en discours indirect

The aim of this thesis is to study the characteristics of what is called <<les verbe de communication>> (verbs of communication). Verbs of communication are verbs by which the speaker reports discourse uttered by some one else. All of them have as a complement a completive construction, an infinitive construction, an indirect interrogative construction, an <<a de ce que p>> construction and a reflexive construction which indicate the speech act contain. Our study works to bring an enlightement on the indirect discourse, a discourse that has a close-link with these verbs. In order to make clear the nature of verbs of communication indirect discourse we distinguish non-communicative verbs and verbs which have communicative value in some contexts. Then we analyse the uses of one hundred ans sixty-six verbs of communication according to syntaxic, semantic characteristics. Consequently we propose semantic classifications and lists of syntaxic constructions.

Cette these consiste a etudier les caracteristiques ce qu'on appelle <<les verbes de communication>>. Les verbes de communication sont des verbes par lesquels le locuteur rapporte le discours prononce d'un autre. Et ils ont tous pour complement une construction completive, une construction infinitive, une construction interrogative indirecte, une construction <<a de ce que p>> et une construction reflexive qui indiquent le contenu de l'ecte de parole. Notre etude s'efforce d'apporter un eclaircissement sur le discours indirect, discours qui a un rapport tres etroit avec ces verbes. Pour eclaircir la nature des verbes de communication en discours indirect, nous distinguons les verbes de non-communication et les verbes prenant la valeur communicative dans certains contextes. Et apres nous analysons les emplois des cent soixante six verbes de communication a partir des caracteristiques syntaxiques et semantiques. Ce faisant nous proposons des classements semantiques et des listes des constructions syntaxiques.
