The purpose here is to study the stakes and charactarestics of the philosophical concept of "passage" (drawed by g. Deleuze) mainly through henri michaux's literary works. It first deals with three of the main sketches : the stranger process of becoming, the intensive process of becoming and the flying process of becoming. The death of michaux's young wife faces the passage to the death of the beloved. The evolution from la ralentie to l'espace aux ombres shows a link between mourning and passage. To check this hypothesis, quelque chose noir by jacques roubaud and jean-louis giovannoni's work are studied. It's obvious then that the refusal of mourning stands as an obstacle to "passage". The second meeting of death and passage is the hardship of his own death jean revezy' novel : le passage gives the clearest explanation : the acceptance of his own death shows the way, meeting death while alive. There is the same link in pierrealbert jourdan's essay between the acceptance of his own loss and passage. The search for passage through the use of drugs makes michaux face the hardship of this death. By accepting it, the being is revealed to him. Death becomes the instrument of passage and the real dimension of passage is discovered : the contemplation of the infinite being without identity nor name.

Il s'agit ici, a l'aide du concept philosophique de "devenir" ou "passage explicite par deleuze, d'etudier la nature et les enjeux du passage chez henri michaux, dans son oeuvre litteraire principalement sont d'abord etudiees trois des principales ebauches de passage : le devenir-etranger, le devenir-intensif et le devenir-volati(e). La mort de la femme de michaux confronte le passage a la mort de l'et -re aime. Le trajet, de la ralentie a nous deux encore, puis morte-mo ronne et l'espace aux ombres, fait apparaitre un lien entre deuil et passage. Pour verifier cette hypothese sont etudies quelque chose noir de j. Roubaud et l'oeuvre de j-l giovannoni. Apparait bien alors que le refus du deuil fait obstacle au passage. Seconde confrontation de la mort et du passage : l'epreuve de sa prop re mort. Le roman de j. Reverzy, le passage, montre que l'acceuil de sa propre mort ouvre au passage, traversee de la mort de son vivant. Meme lien entre acceptation de sa perte et passage chez p-a jourdan. La recherche d'un passage par la drogue confronte michaux a sa propre mort. Avec son acceptation s'offre a lui la revelation de l'etre. La mort devient instrument du passage, en meme temps qu'est decouverte la veritable dimension du passage : la contemplation de l'etre, infi ni, sans culte et sans nom.
