Saint antoine has bean present throughout flaubert's career, in his youth work - a real prehistory of the temptationare contained certain questions which the herait of 1849 will have to face. Relationships betwwen holiness and writing are created. Their transformations will double, in the imaginary, the metamorphoses of the aesthetic practic. Temptation i is the outcome of a first artistic experience confronted with two major problems: how can the writer's word be situated among other voices, other books? how il it possible to work out textual dialectics and create a narratio or an intrigue to express nothinguess? the study of the temptation shows at the same time flaubert's work and the century in the making. In 1849, the first text conveys the preoccupations if its time: debates on religion and the religion, the conflict betwwen faith and science, the search for a certain rationality in history. Temptation 2 comes back to it again. However, its research field is transformed. Flaubert's work renegotiates its relations with the century, as a result, the aesthetic form is altered and in temptation 2, as later in bouvard and pecuchet, the books are at the same time tempters and beliefs. This study is not so much an attempt to define the deep thoughts of flaubert on a few problems of his time but to study the links of epistemology and aesthetics in the two temptations, to follow, from 1849 to 1874 the metamorphoses of writing. Il presents the work in display, in all its imlications, at the heart of the movement which brings out a writing future always to accomplish, at the other en of the chain, the transformation of the mimesis in temptation 2 gives birth to a new reading future which forces to think over again the relationships between the genetics and the textual implications in the work dimension.

Saint antoine a accompagne toute la carriere de flaubert. Dans l'ecrit de jeunesse - veritable prehistoire de la tentati s'elaborent quelques questions qui se poseront a l'erale de 1849. Des relations entre saintete et ecriture se nouent. Le transformations doubleront, dans l'imaginaire, les metamorphoses de la pratique esthetique. Tentation 1 est l'aboutissem premiere experience artistique confrontee a deux problemes majeurs : comment la parole de l'ecrivain peut-elle se situer autres voix, aux autres livres? comment elaborer une dialectique textuelle et produire un recit ou une intrigue pour dir l'etude de la tentation montre a la fois le travail de flaubert et le siecle a l'oeuvre. En 1849, le premier texte met e preoccupations de son temps: debats sur la religion et les religions, conflit entre la foi et la science, recherche d'un l'histoire. Tentation 2 y revient encore. Pourtant son champ de recherche se trasforme. L'oeuvre renegocie ses relations la forme esthetique s'en trouve modifiee et dans tentation 2, comme plus tard dans bouvard et pecuchet, les livres sont tentateurs et les croyances. Mon etude cherche moins a definir la pensee profonde de flaubert sur quelques problemes de etudier l'articulation de l'epistemologique et de l'esthetique dans les deux tentation pour suivre de 1849 a 1874 les me l'ecriture. Elle presente l'oeuvre en acte, dans toutes ses implications, au coeur du mouvement qui anime un devenir ecr acheve. A l'autre bout de la chaine, la transformation de la mimesis dans tentation? 2 programme un nouveau devenir lect repenser les rapports du genetique et du textuel dans la dimension de l'oeuvre.
