This thesis is based on two publications: the french translation of the huarochiri quechua manuscript (ms. 3169 of the madrid national library), published in 1980 by l'harmattan, paris (243 pages) and the new spanish translation of the same document published in 1987 in lima by the french institute of andean studies and the institute of peruvian studies (533 pages). The new translation is accompanied by a paleographic version of the original document, a phonological interpretation of the text, a lexicographical study, a map and analytical indexes. A text summing up research on huarochiri and yauyos (274 pages) describes the present-day dialectal situation in yauyos and defines the role of the "lengua general" in colonial peru.

Les deux publications qui constituent cette these sur travaux sont la traduction en francais du manuscrit quechua de huarochiri (ms 3169 de la bibliotheque nationale de madrid) publiee a paris par l'harmattan en 1980 (243 pages) et la nouvelle traduction en espagnol du meme document publiee conjointement par l'institut francais d'etudes andines et l'instituto de estudios peruanos a lima, 1987 (533 pages). Cette derniere edition contient une version paleographique du document original, une interpretation phonologique, une etude lexicographique, une carte et des index analytiques. Le texte de synthese, qui accompagne les deux publications (273 pages) decrit la situation dialectale de la province contemporaine de yauyos et le role historique de la "langue generale".
