Analyse linguistique de l'expression du dysfonctionnement technique : le cas des échanges entre chefs de salle et maintenance opérationnelle dans la navigation aérienne

This study shows, through a bottom-up approach (from data to systematization), the existence of regularities which belong to specific categories of information. The study concerns a corpus of calls whose topic is the technical malfunctioning of certain air-traffic control devices. My research goal is to establish how this information is expressed. Through a lexical-syntactic and semantic analysis, I aim to determine whether there are any structural regularities in the corpora, and then I identify variations in them (in which the real and simulated temporal dimension and the utterance situation vary). The objective of this thesis is to propose a grammar of these regularities. I also aim to establish which syntactic processes are favoured by the speakers. The results of this study finally enable us to refine three notions of the research problem of language at work: operative language, expert and domain.

Cette thèse envisage, au travers d'une approche ascendante (des données vers la systématisation), la mise au jour de régularités de fonctionnement à l'oral qui ne soient pas propres à un corpus particulier ou à un genre de corpus mais bien à une catégorie d'information. L'étude porte sur un corpus de communications téléphoniques dont le sujet concerne les dysfonctionnements techniques des outils de contrôle aérien. Notre problématique est de voir sous quelles formes linguistiques cette information apparaît. Au travers d'une analyse lexico-syntaxique et sémantique, il s'agit d'évaluer s'il existe des régularités structurelles permettant l'expression de cette information puis d'identifier les variations éventuelles dans les divers sous-corpus (où varient la dimension temporelle et la situation, réelle vs simulée). L'objectif de ce travail réside dans l'élaboration d'une grammaire de cette expression. Il s'agit également de voir quels procédés syntaxiques sont privilégiés par les locuteurs. Les résultats issus de cette étude nous permettent enfin d'affiner certaines notions (langage opératif, expert, domaine) propres à la problématique du langage au travail.
