On the one hand, our study is a psychological analysis of villon at the same time as that of the common man of 15th century france, because, even though we cannot term villon as a "medevial prototype", we can certainly say that he ressembles a large majority of the youth of his period. Our analysis is based on the analytical method of carl gustav jung. We have also examined the status of religion at the end of the 15th century, its importance and its influence on villon' works.

Notre etude est une tentative d'analyser l'evolution psychologique de villon, et par la meme celle de l'homme du xveme siecle, car villon tout en n'etant pas un "prototype medieval" perosnnifie certainement une grande partie de la jeunesse de son epoque. Pour achever nos recherches nous avons fait appel a la methode analytique de carl gustav jung. D'autre part, nous avons egalement examine le statut de la religion a la fin du 15eme siecle, son importance et son influence sur la pensee et l'oeuvre de villon.
