Globally, the fictional description of julien gracq can be considered as compomise place where the narrative language and the lyric language lean on one another in a relauching dynamism. Our study is divided into two parts : improper descriptif and fragmentary descriptif. The improper approach of gracquian writing arises from his preliminary separation of what is the concern of the "reality", that is to say, the non-fictional, which constitute the presumed doublure for a fiction. The historical reality seems to be continually skirted round, turned away, suspended, and even inhibited, in the profit of a continual reverie, where the desire to rejoin it is hand in glove with the fear of rejoining it. The scriptural imagination rejoin the real only by incorporating it into his bosom in fragmentary and discontinuous form.

Globalement, la description romanesque de julien gracq peut etre consideree comme le lieu de compromis ou le narratif et le lyrique donnent appui l'un a l'autre dans un dynamisme de relance. Notre travail se partage en deux parties : descriptif de l'impropre et descriptif du fragmentaire. La demarche impropre de l'ecriture gracquienne nait de sa prise de distance liminaire vis-a-vis de tout ce qui releve de la "realite", c'est-a-dire du non-fictionnel, qui constitue la doublure presumee de la fiction. Le reel historique apparait sans cesse contourne, detourne, suspendu, voire meme refoule, au profit d'une continuelle reverie, ou le desir de le rejoindre a partie liee avec la peur de le rejoindre. L'imaginaire scriptural ne rejoint le reel qu'en l'incorporant en son sein sous forme fragmentaire et discontinue.
