Ce travail se présente matériellement sous forme de deux volumes consacré à l'étude du parler Ayt Ayach de la haute Moulouya (versant nord du haut-atlas au Maroc). Dans le premier volume, l'auteur donne un aperçu sur la phonétique-phonologie du parler; il traite de la morphologie du nom et étudie la conjugaison de 643 verbes simples. La démarche méthodologique suivie dans cette recherche s'inspire essentiellement des travaux de deux linguistes structuralistes berberisants : A. Basset et l. Galand. Le second volume présente 33 textes berbères traduits en français et 16 planches d'illustration. La notation des textes berbères est plus phonologique que phonétique; la voyelle d'appui a, qui n'a pas de statut phonologique, n’apparait pas dans ces textes.

This work is materially presented in form of two volumes devoted to the study of the dialect of Ayt Ayach of the high Moulouya (north oriental high atlas, Morocco). In the first volume the autor gives a general idea of the phonetics and phonology system of the dialect. He deals with the morphology of the noun and studies the conjugation of 643 simple verbs. The methodological approach followed in this research is essentielly based in the works of two linguists structuralists berberisants : A. Basset and l. Galand. The second volume presents 33 berber texts translated into french and 16 boards of illustrations. The transcription of the berber texts is more phonological than phonetical. The schwa which has no phonological status does not appear in the texts.
