L'antériorité temporelle dans la préfixation en français

In contemporary french, several prefixes can be used to construct words with a meaning of temporal anteriority : ante-, avant-, pre- and pro-. The present work centers on the most productive of them, the prefixe pre-, and other prefixes are studied by comparison with it. Within the framework of prof. D. Corbin's theory of derivational morphology, suggestions are made about what operations of a morphologic or semantic character should be postulated to construct a meaning of temporal anteriority; the operations concern type of bases, derivational constraints and paradigmatic integration on the one hand and semantic operations of localisation and the form of temporal axes on the other hand. The purpose of the these is to propose a micro-systematic analysis of this category of prefixes.

Plusieurs préfixes servent, en francais contemporain, à construire des mots qui s'interprètent avec un sens d'anteriorité temporelle : ante-, avant-, pré- et pro-. Les analyses - qui ont ete menées à partir du plus productif d'entre eux, le préfixe pré-, puis étendues, par comparaison, aux autres modes de préfixation- s'inscrivent dans le cadre théorique de la morphologie dérivationnelle de D. Corbin et proposent une réflexion sur les différentes opérations - morphologiques (types de bases, contraintes, integration paradigmatique, etc. ) et sémantiques (opérations de repérages, de localisation, structures d'axes,etc. ) qui doivent être postulées pour que puisse être construit ce sens d'anteriorité temporelle; le but poursuivi étant de proposer une micro-systematique de cette categorie de préfixes.
