As in other bilingual communities, code-switching is a current linguistic manifestation among greek-speaking immigrants in paris. The corpus of this dissertation includes recordings from natural settings divided into three domains to be compared : families, working places and students' situations. Data is analysed according to different methods : the functional - pragmatic, the quantitative and the formal one. The form that codeswitching takes widely depends on social networks, speech situations or on speakers' attitudes. Greek is dominant from the quantitative and the structural point of viexw, but codemixing, generally, seems discordered ans stylistic. Those irregularities imposed an approach of the code-switching phenomenon throwing doubt upon previous local theories, although using their interesting points.

Comme dans d'autres communautes bilingues, l'alternance de codes est une habitude linguistique courante dans la communaute des immigres helenophones de paris. Le corpus comprend des enregistrements dans des situations naturelles de communication, separees en trois domaines compares entre eux : familles, lieux de travail et situations d'etudiants. Les donnees sont analysees selon des methodes differentes : fonctionnelle - pragmatique, quantitative et grammaticale. L'alternance de codes depend largement du reseau social, de la situation de communication et des attitudes des locuteurs. La presence du grec est dominante quantitativement et structurellement, le melange parait pourtant desordonne et stylistique. Ces particularites ont impose une approche du phenomene mettant en question diverses theories partielles deja proposees, tout en profitant de leurs points interessants.
