Etudes articulatoire et acoustique des diphtongues du thai : analyses radiocinematographique et sonagraphique

This study us on asticulatory and acoustic analysis of the 3 thai diphthongs lia, wa, waj. The articulatcry analysis is based on x-ray data and the acoustic analysis on spetrographic dela. The position and the movement of cisticulatcry organs from lips to longrx duing the diphithong production are discribed in detail for acoustic analysis, the frequency of the first and the second fermant gre mesured at the onset a2nbd offset steady state and the transition between them as well as the total durction of the diphthong. The composion between vocalic elements of diphtongs and simple nowels ensid lo disoube them indicate the the elements of diphthong depost from their target position represented by the position of isoloted vowels. The modification of the second elements is mose important than that of the first opre. Costiculatory effects from stop consomants on diphthongs dix alos investigeted.

Ce travail poste sur la realisation articulataire et acoustique des disphtongues lia, wa,ua) du thai. L'analyse articulctoire est fordee sur les mesures, des 15 perometres a partir des croquis radiochrematographiques et l'analyse acoustique sur les mesures obtenues a partir des documents doragraphiques. Le comportement et le mouvement des organes orticulctoires des levres jusqu'au longrx perdant la realisation des diphtongues sont decouts en details. Pour l'analyse acoustique, les prequences de f1 et de f2 du premier et secord element des dipltongues ainsi que la duree totale sont mesurees, ce qui nous a permi de detrerminer leur corecteristiques accoustiques. La composaison entre les elements vocaliques qui constituent les diphtongues et les vayelles simples correspordantes indique que ces elements se modifient pour rapport auyx voyelles simples. Cette modifiction touche paircipelement le second element des diphtongues. La modification des elements de diphlongues due a l'influence consorartique a ete egalement analysee.
