Study of the verbal system based on the category of tense and aspect. Application of the graeco-slavonic model (made up of six elements: three tenses - past, present and future multiplied by two aspects - perfective and non-perfective) to french and english. Comparison with other indo-european languages. Problem of the conditional mood and of the tense called future in the past.

Etude du systeme verbal base sur la categorie de temps grammatical et d'aspect. Application du modele greco-slave (se composant de six elements: trois temps grammaticaux - passe, present et futur, multiplies par deux aspects - perfectif et non-perfectif) au francais et a l'an- glais. Comparaison avec d'autres langues indo-europeennes. Probleme du mode conditionnel et du temps grammatical dit futur dans le passe.
