Dans l'oeuvre de claude simon, les images vegetales, par l'importance revelatrice que l'ecrivain leur accorde, montrent qu'elles sont a la source de sa poetique : en elles se conjuguent le travail conscient de l'ecriture et celui de l'imaginaire. En suivant les metamorphoses de ces images au fil du temps, au fil de l'oeuvre, nous suivons aussi leurs pouvoirs createurs, nous pouvons voir comment elles participent du tissage du texte.

In the works of claude simon the plant realm images, thanks to the revealing importance that the writer grants them, prove that they are the source of his poetic inspiration. They combine the conscious effort of writing and his mental image. If we follow the metamorphosis of these images with the passing of time, throughout his work, we also follow their creative power, we can see how they participate in the structure of the woven fabric of the text.
