Ecrit francophone et parole sociale : étude d'un corpus romanesque mauricien : Carl de Souza

The goal of this thesis is the study of social talking written representations in a French movelistic corpus. We deepened this problematic analysing the production of the Mauritian writer, Carl de Souza. This pluringual corpus shows a complex writing because it belongs to a multicultural insular society of the Indian ocean and because of its heterolinguism references. Within this framework, we forwarded two hypothesis. The first hypothesis envisages a link between social talking and French novelistic writing in a plurilingual surrounding. The gatering, the eventual conflicts among languages hides conflicts linked to the seeking and defensing of identities. The second one brings the idea that the French speaking novelist in young literatures must situate himself versus his metropolitan models. This writing hybrid shows a "directed decentering" with the "raising of voices" in a burst space which obeys the aesthetics of globalization.

La thèse veut étudier les représentations écrites de la parole sociale dans un corpus romanesque francophone. Cette problématique a été approfondie en analysant la production de l'écrivain mauricien Carl de Souza. Ce corpus plurilingue témoigne d'une écriture complexifiée par l'ancrage dans une société multiculturelle et insulaire de l'océan Indien et par les mrques de l'hétérolinguisme. Dans ce cadre, nous avons avancé deux hypothèses. La première hypothèse pose l'existence d'un lien entre parole sociale et écriture romanesque francophone en milieu plurilingue. La rencontre, voire les conflits entre les langues recouvre les conflits liés à la recherche et à la défense des identités. La seconde tend à soutenir l'idée que le romancier francophone dans les jeunes littératures doit se situer face aux modèles métropolitains. Cette écriture hybride traduit un "décentrement orienté" : avec la "montée des voix" dans un espace éclaté qui obéit à l'esthétique de la globalisation.
