The aim of this study is to analyse certain linguistic transformations that have been produced by the 3rd generation children, aged from 4 to 10 years old. All children were read the same source text and were asked to retell it immediately. The retold text was recorded and transcribed. Our aim is, however, to analyse the available linguistic means and the state of grammar during the child's French acquisition and basically the way in which he builds his point of view by using his own vocabulary when reformulating a text that we ask him to retell.

L'objectif de ce travail est l'analyse linguistique de certaines modifications produites par les enfants de 3ème génération de 4 tranches d'âge : (4 ;0), (6 ;0), (8 ;0) et (10 ;0) ans dans une tâche expérimentale de restitution narrative. Notre but est d'analyser les moyens linguistiques disponibles et l'état de la grammaire chez l'enfant au cours de son acquisition du français et notamment la manière avec laquelle il construit son point de vue et sélectionne son vocabulaire pendant sa reformulation d'un texte qu'on lui demande de restituer.
