Mission: impossible and the avengers belongs to the history of the television's own's type of series for a long time now. The goal of that doctorate is to demonstrate the existence into the conception of those two works of serial elements and references which represente their own label constituing the hand-book from of each serialized novel and from wich, lay down the fondments of a thematic movie-pictured frame studied in all it's developpements, presisely for each episode in each series. The study of the conception of their own's caracteristics show obviously their formals and thematic specifications inside an analysis three parts frame-work for both two of those serialised-novels. The genesis of their conception and the evolution through all the successives periods of their production, do permit to understand the process of their creation as the recalling of the remake show the numerous changes between the two of those self series and also their links despite the break apart time. The episode type analysis is particularily representative of their concept and, bring out their constants as the movie study lighten their formal unity through the analysis of those same movie mecanism (directing, film editing, sound-tape etc the composant's study, serial and referencial wich are bound to the narrative concept of each series, define their functions and their singularity, each composant element been closely bound to each other within a clever gearing system following their unity. The recursion's elements in the series as the characters, gadgets, decorums, main title and introductory sequences are at first all fitting to each other and the lack of it could denigrate the episodal quality. It is to demonstrate the originality and the many-sided differences visual and narrativeof each of those series wich are internationally well recognised and the influence over the following production is indisputable. Mission impossible et chapeau melon et bottes de cuir font partie de l'histoire de la television et sont devenues des series cultes depuis longtemps. Le but de cette these est de demontrer l'existencents d'un cadre, dans le concept de ces deux series, d'elements seriels et referentiels qui representent leur "marque de fabrique". Ils constituent une sorte de carnet de bord pour chaque serie et posent les fondements d'un cadre filmique et thematique etudie avec precision dans tous ses developpements et qui font partie integrante de chaque episode. Pour etudier les caracteristiques de leur concept respectif et mettre en exergue leurs specificites formelles et thematiques, un meme canevas d'analyse en trois parties a ete retenu pour les deux series. La genese de leur conception et l'evolution a travers toutes les saisons successives de leur production permettent de mieux comprendre leur processus de creation alors que l'evocation de leur "remake" respectif montre les changements intervenus entre les deux productions et les liens qui les relient malgre le temps qui les separe. L'analyse d'un episode-type, particulierement representatif de leur concept, en degage les constantes tandis qu'une etude filmique met en lumiere leur unite formelle a travers l'analyse de leurs mecanismes filmiques (mise en scene, montage, bande-son, etc). L'etude de leurs composants seriels et referentiels; qui sont lies au concept narratif de chaque serie,definit leur fonction et leur singularite, chaque element constitutif etant etroitement relie aux autres selon un habile systeme a engrenages dont decoule leur unite d'ensemble. Les elements recurrent tels que les personnages, gadgets, decors,generiques et sequences d'introduction, sont imbriques les uns aux autres au prealable et leur absence ou modification nuit a la qualite de l'episode. Il s'agit de demontrer l'originalite et les differentes facettes visuelles et narratives de ces deux series dont la reconnaissance internationale et l'influence sur les productions ulterieures furent indeniables depuis l'arret de leur production. Malgre des differences essentielles dues a une origine et un concept differents, elles possedent certaines ressemblances et trente ans apres leur creation, demeurent des references televisuelles incontournables
