Analyse de productions écrites et orales d'étudiants de l'université de Conakry : état de l'enseignement du français en Guinée et propositions didactiques

The aim of this theses is to make an evaluation of the competences of some students of the conakry in oral and written productions in a didactic perspective. This evaluation is made from the observation of their productions. The first part contains four chapters and explores to the analysis of the socio-educational and linguistic context of the french teaching in guinea, and after a short presentation of the geographical area, we study :. The outline of the relations between the different languages in guinea which is a multilingual country where the french language, the official language of teaching and administration is in contact with about twenty national languages. Within these languages, with an intra-ethnic function, we have three common languages and at a certain time, eight and then six of them have been like french, teaching languages;. The organization, the structure and the functioning of the guinean teaching system;. Some aspects of the sociolinguistic situation of the target population and (the ones) of some french teachers of the secondary school from a survey by a questionaire. The second part contains five chapters; after a review of some fondamental notions of textual linguistic and of different approches in discours analysis, the competences of the students are analysed in written productions on narrative and argumentative texts which are a matter for universitary exercises, the oral competences being evaluated from recorded and transcripted debates. The composition rules of the analyzed texts are apprehended on global and local levels through verbal tenses, anaphores, thematic progression, logic operators and connectors, which are linguistic unities yie coherent texts from written productions. From the analysis of the written and oral productions which have reveled the difficulties of the students, mainly in the writting of the texts, some didactic propositions are given based on a theoretical approch of semantic-grammatical categories of verbal tenses and connectors as for a more general work on various texts, an other to give pertinence and efficacity to the french teaching and to facilitate the amelioration of the communicative competence of the learners. L'objectif de cette these est de faire une evaluation des competences a l'ecrit et a l'oral d'etudiants de l'universite de conakry dans une perspective didactique, a partir de l'observation de leurs productions. Dans la premiere partie en quatre chapitres consacree a l'analyse du contexte socio-educatif et linguistique de l'enseignement du francais en guinee, et apres une breve presentation de la zone geographique, sont etudies :. L'esquisse des relations interlinguistiques en guinee, pays multilingue ou le francais, langue officielle d'enseignement et de l'administration est en contact avec une vingtaine de langues nationales a fonction intra-ethnique parmi lesquelles trois sont vehiculaires et a un moment donne huit ensuite six d'entre elles ont ete, comme le francais, langues d'enseignement;. L'organisation, la structure et le fonctionnement du systeme d'enseignement guineen;. Quelques aspects de la situation sociolinguistique de la population cible et de quelques enseignants de francais du secondaire a partir d'enquete par questionnaire. Dans la deuxieme partie en cinq chapitres, apres une revue de quelques notions fondamentales de la linguistique textuelle et des differentes approches en analyse du discours, les competences des etudiants sont analysees a l'ecrit sur des textes narratifs et argumentatifs relevant d'exercices universitaires, les competences orales etant evaluees a partir des debats enregistres et transcrits. Les regles de composition des textes analyses sont apprehendees aux niveaux local et global a travers les temps verbaux, les anaphores, la progression thematique, les operateurs et connecteurs logiques, autant d'unites linguistiques qui font des ecrits des textes coherents. A partir de l'analyse des productions ecrites et orales qui a permis de constater les difficultes des etudiants, notamment dans la mise en texte, des propositions d'ordre didactique sont faites tant pour une approche theorique des categories semantico-grammaticales des temps verbaux et des connecteurs que pour un travail plus general sur des textes varies afin de conferer pertinence et efficacite a l'enseignement du francais et de faciliter l'amelioration de la competence communicative des apprenants.
