The purpose of this research is to define the specific characteristic of speech in deaf adolescents. Enunciations here concern both visual expression and movement and lead to the recognition of the notion of "sign representation" as an effective conceptual operator. Initially, the first part demonstrates how much the "idealization of the spoken word" and "gesturephobia" traditionally identify our attitude towards these children and are linked to our own "deafness".

Cette recherche se propose de cerner la particularite de la prise de parole chez des adolescents atteints de surdite. Les enonciations concernent ici le visuel et le mouvement et menent a reconnaitre la notion de "representation de signe" comme un operateur conceptuel efficace. La premiere partie montre au prealable combien "l'idealisation du vocable" et la "phobie du geste" marquent traditionnellement l'accueil de ces enfants et se revelent comme liees a notre propre "surdite".
