Cette these est consacree a l'etude du celebre pamphlet d'a. D'aubigne, dans lequel l'auteur fustige la conversion de sancy au catholicisme. Apres l'analyse de al reception de l'oeuvre, une premiere partie retrace la biographie de sancy (1546-1629) et son exploitation litteraire par d'aubigne pamphletaire (nature et portee des accusations, oublis et silences, distorsions diverses de l'ecriture). L'examen des manuscrits, soumis aux methodes de la critique genetique et intertextuelle, permet ensuite de definir les dates de composition. Les objectifs des differentes redactions du texte, ainsi que l'importante redistribution du materiau pamphletaire vers sa meilleure efficacite satirique. La troisieme partie, enfin, presente le portrait litteraire du personnage eponyme, en l'inscrivant dans la typologie des convertis de l'epoque d'henri iv et en l'eclairant par l'ideologie calviniste, relative a la conscience des apostats.

This thesis studies a. D'aubigne's famous pamphlet, where the author vidently critizes sancy's conversion to catholicism. After analyzing the way this work was received, the first part of the study presents sancy's biography (1546-1629) and the literary use that was made of it by d'aubigne pamphleteer (nature and object of accusations, omissions, silences and distorsions in the writing). The examination of the manuscripts, sumbitted to methods of genetic and intertextual criticism, allows a closer definition of the dates of composition, of the objectives of the different versions of the text, as well as of the important reorganization of the palphletarial material towards it's utmost satirical efficiency. The third part finally presents us with the literary portrait of the eponymic character, inserting it in the typology of the converted persons of henri iv's epoch and illuminating it through the calvinist ideology about the apostate's conscience.
