Abstract EN:

This thesis is based on a verification of the importance of scriptological notions in jacques lacan's work by this we mean notions related in one way or another to writing. These elements are mainly used to clarify the role of linguistic concepts in lacan's conceptual view of the unconscious. This transfer of concepts from linguistics to psychoanalysis is central to lacan's definition of the unconscious, and is typified in his well-known formula : "the unconscious is structured like a language". The thesis proposes the hypothesis that "the unconscious is structured in writing", on the basis of an analysis of the "scriptological" dimension in the passages which include language notions. Both the choice of the subject, namely writing, and of lacan's work have influenced the approach adopted. This work is at the intersection between psychoanalysis and a field of research exclusively dedicated to writing, which is not yet clearly defined. It was therefore necessary to devote the first part of the thesis to a review of the concepts, used by linguists and by historians of writing,in order to identify the essential features. The present work attempts to make a contribution towards the creation of a general concept of writing and to establish a particular field for its study, which it is proposed to name "scriptologie". It also attempts to reduce the imprecision of lacan's nomenclature, due mainly the oral nature of an important part of his work (les seminaires).
