Rapports entre morphologie et syntaxe en français et en hongrois : deux cas particuliers "d’accord-objet"

This study is meant to describe and analyze two particular cases of object agreement: the past participle agreement in French and the definite conjugation in Hungarian. It is situated in the framework of generative grammar; yet, other approaches to language study are used when necessary. Even if the surface realizations of the two phenomena are morphologically different, a close examination of the constructions in which it appears reveals that there are common factors determining the appearance of object-agreement in both languages, even if there is no link either typological or genetic between them.

Ce travail, qui utilise comme cadre théorique principal la grammaire générative, mais fait également appel à d'autres approches, a pour objectif la description et l'analyse de deux cas spécifiques d'accord avec l'objet : l'accord du participe perfectif en français et la conjugaison définie du hongrois. Si, du point de vue morphologique, les réalisations de ces deux phénomènes sont totalement différentes, on peut pourtant - constater, après un examen approfondi des constructions dans lesquelles l'accord-objet se manifeste, qu'un certain nombre de facteurs communs déterminent son apparition dans ces deux langues, bien qu'il n'existe entre elles ni lien génétique, ni rapport typologique.
