Based on a corpus in contemporay french, we analyze the terms of address by proceeding to an exploration in sixe steps. In the chapter I, terms of address (forms designating the speaker in a linguistic communication) are the subject of a delimitation or an isolation based on an analyze of studies yet available. The chapter II shows through the examination of other languages in the word, and specially syrian arabic, the variation of the conception of the address, which appears by the existence of a phenomena « Address Inversion »which we can only consider in terms of « exception ». How can we define this « inversion » ? Who realize this exception ? With which forms ? Beside who ? When ? The chaptre III anayze the properties morphosyntaxical and wording of address terms. The chapter IV continues this exploration in the same perspective by analyzing the address terms use in the indirect reported speech. The chapter V tackles the question of links between address terms and Antonomasia. The chapter VI examines the address terms in the context of the speech act theory.

À partir d’un corpus en français contemporain, on analyse les termes d’adresse en procédant à une exploration en six étapes. Dans le chapitre I, les termes d’adresse (formes permettant de désigner l’interlocuteur dans une communication linguistique) font l’objet d’une délimitation ou d’un isolement à partir d’une analyse des études déjà disponibles. Le chapitre II montre à travers l’examen d’autres langues dans le monde, et surtout l’arabe syrien, la variation de la conception de l’adresse, qui se manifeste par l’existence d’un phénomène « l’inversion d’adresse » que l’on ne peut appréhender qu’en terme d’ « exception ». Comment définit-on cette « inversion » ? Qui réalise cette exception ? Avec quelles formes ? Vis-à-vis de qui ? Quand ? Le chapitre III analyse les propriétés morphosyntaxiques et énonciatives des termes d’adresse. Le chapitre IV continue cette exploration dans la même perspective en analysant l’utilisation des termes d’adresse dans le discours rapporté indirect. Le chapitre V aborde la question des rapports entre les termes d’adresse et l’antonomase. Le chapitre VI examine les termes d’adresse dans le cadre de la théorie des actes de langage.
