Le phénomène du petrarquisme en Croatie : les poètes et le contexte historique, social et culturel (XVe-XVIe siècles)

We have divided our thesis into six parts dedicated to the following : Croatian Literature form its beginnings till 15th century; Petrarcha's "spiritual portrait"; the humanist milieu which helped create Croatian petrarchan poetic tradition; love lyric in the croatian language between the end of the 15th and the beginning of the 16th century; the evolution of the tradition of the petrarchan poetry until the end of the 16th century; song-books of croatian petrarchists in the italian language. We have placed the representatives of the croatian petrarchism into two groups. The first group consists of S. Mencetic (1457-1527), G. Drzic (1461-1501) and the anonymous poets from Ragnigna's codex who imitated directly Petrarcha and italian petrarchists. The second group make the petrarchists influenced by Bembo : H. Lucic (1485-1553), D. Ranjina (1536-1607) and D. Zlataric (1558-1613). Finally, we have studied the song-books written in the Italian language by J. Bizanti, L. Pasquali, S. Bobaljevic and M. Monaldi during the 16th century.

Notre travail se distribue en six parties consacrées, dans l'ordre, à la littérature croate des origines au XVe s. ; au "portrait spirituel" de Pétrarque, au milieu humaniste qui engendra le pétrarquisme croate; à la poésie amoureuse en langue croate entre la fin du XVe et le début du XVIe s. ; à l'évolution de celle-ci jusqu'à la fin du XVIe s. ; enfin, aux quatre pétrarquistes de langue italienne. L'histoire de la poésie pétrarquiste en Croatie se divise en deux groupes dont le premier, composé de S. Mencetić (1457-1527), G. Drzić (1461-1501) et des anonymes du Recueil de Ragnina (1507), s'inspire de la poésie populaire croate, tout en imitant Pétrarque et les pétrarquistes italiens. Le second est représenté par H Lucic̓ (1485-1553), D. Ragnina (1536-1607) et D. Zlataric̓ (1558-1613), poètes proches de la variante pétrarquiste de Bembo. La dernière partie traite les chansonniers écrits en italien par J. Bizanti (1490-1560), L. Pasquali (1500-1551), S. Bobaljevic̓ et M. Monaldi (1540-1592).
