Throughout this study we try to work out the symbolism associated with the human body in Tashelhit and to bring out the main dimensions of this broad semantic field. We thus develop a model of semantic analysis for both proverbs and idiomatic expressions, applicable to a large array of corpus. We propose a detailed description of semantic and symbolic values associated with the lexicon related to the organs of the human body in Tashelhit, and describe the functioning of these lexemes in a context of paremiology, by putting forward a model of semantic analysis anchored in the concepts of proverbial motif and scenography. Their inherent metamorphism confers the lexical entities the function of figurative emblems, able of reaching the high generic level of maxims, essential for an explication of the proverb's "formular" meaning, and for grasping its practical and moral stake. In the same time, we are interested in idioms and phraseology, as cultural and social phenomena allowing us to understand semantic mechanisms specific to the language and to apprehend its linguistic and cultural specificities. We thus wish to contribute, in the field of lexical studies, a new approach where idiomatic expressions and proverbs can be brought together with so-called denotative meanings within a holistic model. This work is also a contribution to the field of Amazigh (Berber) studies. Our approach favours a global view, and involves a practical dimension, dealing with philological and dictionary description.

Nous avons essayé à travers cette étude de cerner la symbolique du corps en tachelhit et dégager les significations dominantes du champ sémantique, en proposant un modèle d'analyse sémantique des proverbes et des expressions idiomatiques applicable à une variété de corpus. Nous avons d'abord essayé de décrire les valeurs sémantiques associées aux parties du corps en tachelhit, pour ensuite décrire le fonctionnement de ces unités lexicales dans un contexte de parémiologie, en proposant un modèle d'analyse sémantique avec les notions de motif proverbial et de scénographie, dont le métamorphisme confère aux entités lexicales un statut d'emblême, pour rejoindre un horizon de topoï et de maximes génériques essentiel à la compréhension du proverbe et de son enjeu pratico-moral. Nous nous intéressons à la question du figement et de la phraséologie à la fois comme pratique langagière et enjeu sociétal, en tant que phénomènes linguistiques nous permettant de comprendre les mécanismes sémantiques propres à la langue, et de découvrir ses spécificités linguistiques et culturelles. Notre travail est une intervention dans le domaine des études amazighes, privilégiant à la fois un aspect pratique de description dictionnairique traitant un ensemble de données concernant la phraséologie et la parémiologie amazighes, et par ailleurs une analyse linguistique traitant des phénomènes sémantiques et syntaxiques caractérisant ce type de constructions, dans une vision globale où les deux aspects s'équilibrent et se complètent l'un l'autre. Nous avons ainsi essayé de créer une affinité entre le rapport à la langue et la description sémantique, notre étude intéressant un aspect qui concerne la langue et un autre aspect où l'on développe une théorie sémantique de mise en oeuvre et de description linguistique.
