The problematic of this thesis lies at the crossroads of postcolonialism and postmodernism. Investigating the poetics of six autobiographies unveils the literary strategies the writers deploy to accommodate into their writing both an experience of violence and resistance against it. An analysis of the thematics and textual functioning of the texts reveals how they transform, through textual violence, an identity inherited from colonial and patriarchal discourses in order to construct a new subjectivity that escapes existing power relations. This research, through its evaluation of the oppositional force of this intrinsically postmodern corpus, enacts a rapprochement between postcolonial and postmodern theories. The nomadic writers deterritorialise inherited ethnic and sexual identities, creating for themselves Deleuzian lines of flight towards a new conception of identity anchored in a community of origin and in female memory: the identity of a subject group, invested with becoming.

La problématique de cette thèse se situe à la rencontre du postcolonialisme et du postmodernisme. En nous portant sur le dispositif poétique de six autobiographies, nous dévoilons les stratégies littéraires par lequelles nos auteures incorporent, tout en y résistant, la violence vécue à leurs textes. L'analyse de la thématique et du fonctionnement textuel des ouvrages montre comment elles transforment à coups de violences textuelles l'identité héritée des discours colonial et patriarcal pour se construire une nouvelle subjectivité qui échappe aux rapports de pouvoir en place. L'évaluation de la force oppositionnelle de cette écriture, à sensibilité postmoderne, permet de rapprocher les courants postcolonial et postmoderne. En déterritorialisant l'identité ethnique et sexuelle héritée, ces auteures nomades se créent des lignes de fuite deleuziennes vers une nouvelle identité qui s'ancre dans une communauté d'origine et dans la mémoire féminine ; l'identité en devenir d'un groupe sujet
