Approche du théâtre de l'absurde : Adamov, Al-Hakim, Beckett, Ionesco

The distruptions which have taken place in the world have resulted in the loss of the religious faith. This feeling has been traduced in the theatral literature in france by beckett, adamov and ionesco. The arab world, concerned with other problems of colonisation particularly has felt later this god quest. Or is the influence of an atheistic occident which has incited al hakim to write an absurd play ? his play ya tali as sagara presents some structures of the absurd theatre. The dreamy dimension becomes the back drop of this theatre : the stereotyped language, the barriers imposed by the time and space and the inconsistency of the personages. The religious perception is also present in the relative silence of god. Beckett has waited him and concluded that he doesn't exist ; ionesco ignores him but is nevertheless obsessed by death ; adamov declares that the superior forces are those of evil. As for al hakim, his position towards his creator is different. On the one hand, he indicates the religious belief as such as it is sent since generations and on the other hand he defines his position, throughout the dervish's personage, as for god existence.

Les bouleversements intervenus dans le monde ont entraine la perte de la foi religieuse et les interrogations quant a l'existence de dieu. Cet etat d'esprit s'est manifeste egalement a travers les ecrits. En france, beckett, ionesco et adamov sont les innovateurs de ce que l'on appelle theatre d'avant-garde ou theatre de l'absurde. Le monde arabe, ayant d'autres preoccupations d'ordre colonial surtout, n'a ressenti que plus tard, le besoin de cette quete. Ou est-ce l'influence d'un occident athe qui a incite al hakim, contemporain egyptien, a ecrire une piece de l'absurde ? en effet, ya tali as sagara presente toutes les structures du theatre de l'absurde. La dimension onirique vient desormais compenser ce sentiment tragique de l'existence : on y denonce le langage stereotype, les barrieres imposees par le temps et l'espace et l'inconsistance des personnages. La perception religieuse est egalement presente, par le silence-relatif-de dieu. Beckett l'attend et conclut qu'il n'existe pas ; ionesco l'ignore mais reste neanmoins obsede par la mort ; adamov declare que les forces superieures sont celles du mal. Quant a al hakim, de religion musulmane, sa position vis a vis de dieu, est differente. D'une part il denonce la croyance religieuse telle qu'elle est transmise depuis des generations et d'autre part il definit sa position, a travers le personnage du derviche, quant a l'existence de dieu.
