It is no longer possible to limit the act of literary translation to the sole interplay between idioms on the one hand, and to a departement of linguistics on the other. However indisputable the contribution of the latter, in that field, literary studies and more particulary comparative literature can shed a new light on the problematic of translation, which is primarily a litterary creation, an actualisation, inseparable from the contexts of the text (those of its creation and that of its reception). The comparative analysis of the different translations of a same work is, in our view, a new form of literary criticism which aims at the analysis of both the original and its translation through the identifying and studying of the deforming and concording trends. This is what we have called "traductique".

La traduction litteraire ne peut plus etre consideree comme une operation interlangale et une branche de la linguistique. Certes l'apport de cette discipline est inconstestable, toutefois, les etudes litteraires, et plus particulierement la litterature comparee peuvent eclairer d'une nouvelle maniere la problematique de la traduction. Celle-ci est avant tout une creation litteraire, une actualisation et est indissociable des contextes (interne, externe, et cible). L'analyse comparative des traductions francaises de l'oeuvre de abderrahman el mejdoub, c'est le cas de notre recherche, peut, a notre avis, etre une nouvelle forme de critiques litteraire qui tend a analyser et l'original et les traductions a travers le reperage et l'etude des tendancfes deformantes et les tendances concordantes. Tel serait ce que nous avons appele "traducritique".
