Abstract EN:

This thesis brings to light the numerous influences exerted by foreign and german literature on the poetical works of georg herwegh, a nineteenth century german poet (1817-1875). The main authors mentioned are the following : chenier, beranger, lamartine, gautier, hegesippe moreau, about, rogeard. - byron, shelley, wordsworth. Goethe, schiller, holderlin, platen, gutzkow, wienbarg, borne, heine. The study concentrates on the committed poetry of the vormarz, the pre-revolutionary period in germany (1815-1848). It also focuses on herwegh's contributionin the field of social poetry, on the biblical language, which is an integral part of his poetical expression, and on the various marks left in his works by "student poetry", especially on those that are typical of the burschenschaft movement (a student's society).
