Les métamorphoses de l'intériorité, roman et psyché dans leur déroulement historique : analyse historique et comparative du phénomène entre la philosophie et le discours romanesque

This study is based on a cross disciplinary approach to the concept of interiority, taking as starting-points theories inspired by phenomenology, the cognitive sciences, semiotics of emotion, methods of analysis of the discourse of the novel, as well as specific contributions philosophical, psychological and psychoanalytical. This study aiming at defining the phenomenon of interiority, analyzes its components and its various definitions through philosophy, the history of its slow development and of its incarnation in the novel. By using ten novels from the Western culture (Dostoyevsky, Notes from the Underground ; Sabato, The Tunnel ; Berent, Próchno ; Svevo, Zeno's Conscience ; Ducharme, The Swallower swallowed ; Kafka, The Trial ; Sartre, Nausea ; Joyce Ulysses ; Sarraute, The Planetarium ; and Beckett, The Unnameable), this study outlines the characteristics of its representation and the precise conditions of its course of development, and establishes the character of its metamorphoses.

L'étude est fondée sur une approche transdisciplinaire du concept de l'intériorité à partir de théories inspirées de la phénoménologie, des sciences cognitives, de la sémiotique des passions, de méthodes d'analyse du discours romanesque, ainsi que d'apports philosophiques, psychologiques et psychanalytiques ponctuels. Elle définit le phénomène de l'intériorité, analyse ses éléments constitutifs et ses diverses approches par la philosophie, l'histoire de sa lente évolution et de son incarnation dans le roman. En s'appuyant sur dix romans du monde de culture occidentale (Dostoïevski, Notes d'un souterrain ; Sabato, Le Tunnel ; Berent, Próchno ; Svevo, La Conscience de Zeno ; Ducharme, L'avalée des avalés ; Kafka, Le Procès ; Sartre, La Nausée ; Joyce Ulysse ; Sarraute, Le Planétarium ; et Beckett, L'Innommable), elle approfondit les particularités de ses avatars dans le roman moderne, les conditions précises de son parcours évolutif et établit le caractère de ses métamorphoses.
