" Sound Poetry " first appeared in France in the middle of the twentieth century. At the present time we have gained sufficient benefit of hindrance so as to be able to retrace a history of this phenomenon. From Futurism to Lettrism passing through Dadaism, numerous artistic and technological mutations have favoured the transition from the graphicsphere to the phonosphere. In fifty years of existence, sound poetry has acquired a real status. Its many evolutions have led to almost as many heterogeneous currents and practices sometimes hard to channel. The elaboration of an alphabetical dictionary of francophone sound poets (from the 1950's until today) has thus become a necessity. Each entry of this dictionary has been the occasion of a triangular analysis allowing the gathering of biographical and bibliographical data so well as a critical approach enlightening the specificities of each production.

La " Poésie Sonore " est apparue en France dans la seconde moitié du XXe siècle et nous bénéficions désormais d'un recul suffisant pour pouvoir en retracer une histoire. Du Futurisme au Lettrisme, en passant par le Dadaïsme, différentes mutations artistiques et technologiques ont favorisé le passage de la graphosphère à la phonosphère. En cinquante ans d'existence, la poésie sonore a acquis un véritable statut, elle a beaucoup évolué et se décline selon des courants et des pratiques hétérogènes parfois difficiles à canaliser. Dès lors, l'élaboration d'un dictionnaire alphabétique des poètes sonores francophones (de 1950 à nos jours) s'avérait nécessaire. Chaque entrée a fait l'objet d'une analyse triangulaire qui permet de réunir des informations biographiques et bibliographiques, et d'effectuer une approche critique des œuvres mettant en relief les spécificités de chacun.
