Abstract EN:
The idea of wealth implies the idea of a holy relation between humanity and gods. The first part of the research work deals with the words which point out wealth and their recurrence in the oresteia : ploutos, chremata, cteana and the purple of the mortal net. The second part deals with the collective and sacred aspect of wealth. The decay of ploutos which can be found in agamemnon corresponds to the rape of helen and of the treasures, carried out by paris in argos, the rape is also an offense against zeus. The insane action leads to the ruin of troy, the weakening of politigal power in argos and the king's sacrifice in the purple snare. Ploutos appears in the choephers at the same time as the idea of liberty. The revival of the term is stated at the end of the eumenides, in athens, city of gods, where athena has established the law, guardian of the city. The third part deals with the link between wealth and the trap : wealth is confined to a process of uncheked reproduction, to the powers of darkness : clytaimnestra, helen, agamemnon. Only the emergence of justice, eternal light, changes the powers of evil into powers of good, the maleficent force of wealth into a beneficent one.
