Abstract EN:
The object of this thesis is to clarify through two novels some characteristic traits of a cultural revolt which both in france and in england was illustrated mainly by means of accounts of a literary or more generally artistic nature, and was known as "decadentisme". The androgyne-hermaphrodite, the ephebe, the feminine man, the dandy and the intersexual cross-dressing are the main "motifs" around which is organized this study which demonstrates that ambiguous beauty is the "veiled" depository of a certain number of claims, including the particularly thormy one for the time, of the recognition of "erotic minorities".
