My study will carry on a contemporary author, Daniel Pennac, and more precisely on the tetralogy Malaussène, allowing four works : to the Ogres Good fortune, The Stiff Fairy, The Child Bargains for of Prose and Mister Malaussène. After to call back the historical dimension of the detective romance, I will search to fix him boundaries and to see how justly Daniel Pennac places in thiscurrent. That will give us the occasion to see by the following how and as far as to what not it drops out. A such study will permit me then to consider this author as belonging to a new romanesque gender, a principal figures of a new specimen of detective romance. I will treat in parallel of the humour and of the irony, who in those romances are that cannot be dissociated of the romance detective aspect.

Mon étude portera sur un auteur contemporain, Daniel Pennac, et plus précisément sur la tétralogie Malaussène, comportant quatre ouvrages : Au Bonheur des Ogres, La Fée Carabine, La Petite Marchande de Prose et Monsieur Malaussène. Après avoir rappelé la dimension historique du roman policier, je chercherai à en fixer les limites et à voir comment justement Daniel Pennac se situe dans ce courant. Cela nous donnera l'occasion de voir par la suite comment et jusqu'à quel point il se marginalise. Une telle étude me permettra alors de considérer cet auteur comme appartenant à un nouveau genre romanesque, une des principales figures d'un nouveau type de roman policier. Je traiterai en parallèle de l'humour et de l'ironie, qui dans ces romans sont indissociables de l'aspect roman policier.
