Ce travail de recherche se compose de trois parties principales, une introduction synthetique, l'etablissement et la traduction du livre ii de la johannids de corippe, et un commentaire analytique de ce chant, vers apres vers. L'introduction fait d'abord le bilan de nos connaissances sur la vie et l'oeuvre de corippe, puis s'interroge sur l'epoque a laquelle le poeme a ete compose. On donne ensuite un apercu du contenu de cette epopes, ce qui anene a presenter les circonstances historiques dans lesquelles elle a vu le jour, et a reflechir sur le projet litteraire de corippe, qui s'avere plus proche du panegyrique de l'epoque. Apres avoir etudie la posterite et la tradition manuscrite du poeme, on s'interesse plus specialement au livre li: sont examines sa place dans l'oeuvre et sa composition, sa typologie litteraire, son ideologie, son interet geographique, ethnographique et historique, son interet linguistique et litteraire. Vent ensuite le texte du chant ii, avec apparat critique et traduction, puis un commentaire lineaire, aussi bien philologique que litteraire, ideologique et historique. This research work consists of 3 main parts, a synthetic introduction, the drawing up and the translation of the text of the second book of corippus' johannis, and an analytic commentary of this book, verse by verse. The introduction first evaluates our knowledge of corippus' life and work, then considers the time when the poem was written. Then, an outline of the contents of this epic is given, which leads to present the historical circumstances under which it was written, and to ponder on corippus' literary project, which turns out to be closer to panegyric than to epic. After studying the prosperity and the written tradition of the poem, book ii will be more specifically dealt with: its place in the work and its composition, its literary typology, its ideology, its geographical, ethnographic and historicdal interest, its linguistic and literary interest will be examined. Then comes the text of the second book, with a critical apparatus and the translation, then a line for line commentary, philological as well as literary, ideological and historical. An attempt has been made to make it as exhaustive as possible. - between the introduction and the drawn-up text, translated and commented, there is an exhaustive bibliography of the ichannis, and an indicatory one for the rest.
