Pruncul Român-PR, fut le premier et plus important journal de la Révolution Roumaine de Valachie (juin-sept. 1848), pointe extrême vers l'Est de la Révolution de '48. Son fondateur est C. A. Rosetti (1816-85), leader du libéralisme roumain (avec l'ami I. Bratianu), a racines communes avec le radicalisme de la III-ème République. Rosetti, franc-maçon et homme à convictions, s'est formé à la source la plus pure de la pensée occidentale - l'école française. Dans PR on retrouve les principales thèmes de la Proclamation d'Islaz, le programme radical de la Révolution: république, absolue liberté de presse, égalité des droits, impôts pour tous, émancipation des juifs, abrogation des rangs, de la peine de mort, de la corvée et de la torture, terre aux paysans, libération des tziganes etc. Journal mobilisateur, écrit en cyrilliques, jamais édité, PR est une source primaire pour le '48 roumain - le seul dans le monde orthodoxe - qui marqua aussi la synchronisation des Roumains avec l' Europe. Pruncul Român is the first and most important newspaper of the Romanian Revolution (June-September 1848), the eastern extreme of the European '48. Its initiator is C. A. Rosetti (1816-85), "noble father" of Romanian democracy, leader (with I. Bratianu) of the Romanian left-wing liberalism, having common roots with the French III-rd Republic radicals. Freemason, man of principles, Rosetti was trained at the school of the purest source of western thinking - the french school. The PR illustrates the most important points of the radical Programme of the Revolution, the Islaz Proclamation: press freedom, republic, taxes and vote for all, political equality, abolishment of the death penalty, of torture, of the corvee, of the ranks, allotment of the peasants, emancipation of the Jews, liberation of the gypsies, etc. Written in cyrillic, never edited before, PR is a primary source for the romanian '48 - the only in the orthodox world - that marqued also the romanian synchronisation with Europe.
