A study of the administrative and medical evolution of relief in hospitals in narbonne from the seventeenth to the eighteenth century. In the eighteennth century, wefare takes chart's place, yet religions motivations are not inconsidrable. Increasing enfluence of central authority on the financial and administrative organization of hospitals from the seventeenth to the eighteenth century. Etude de l'evolution administrative et medicale de l'assistance hopitaliere a narbonne du dix septieme siecle au dix huitieme siecle. Au dix-huitieme siecle, la bienfaisance se substitue a la charite, les motivations religieuses restant tout de meme non regligeables. Influence grandissante de l'autorite centrale sur l'organisation sur l'organisation administrative et financiere des hopitaux du dix septieme au dix huitieme siecle. Attitude de la societe narbonnaise, de l'eglise, du conseil de ville face aux problemes de la maladie et de la mendicite.
