The frequency of the homonyms and the existence of hypocoristics complicate the prosopographical study of the old Assyrian merchants of the beginning of the second millennium b. C. In Anatolia. It is necessary to examine one by one the private archives of each merchant. We have chosen a name which appears in 270 cuneiform tablets and corresponds to two homonyms only. The elaboration of the genealogical tree of one of the two Innajas was possible only after the distinction of the two homonyms. This prosopographical reconstruction allows to analyse the evolution of the different stages of the old Assyrian colonisation in Anatolia over the organisation and the geographical distribution of the family. After Innaja's father's death, his older brother took the command of the family firm in the Assyrian capital. His wife stayed in assur where she exported her personnal production of textiles to Anatolia. All the documents can be ordered in a chronological order, giving the succession of the major evenments which stand out the life of Innaja.

L'étude prosopographique concernant les marchands assyriens du début du second millénaire avant notre ère en Anatolie se heurte à la fréquence de l'homonymie et la présence d'hypocoristiques; une méthode de recherche systématique consistant à analyser l'un après l'autre des dossiers concernant un seul marchand est indispensable. Notre choix s'est porté sur le commerçant Innaja personnage important qui regroupe sur son nom près de 270 archives. La distinction des deux homonymes Innaja a permis l'élaboration d'un arbre généalogique de l'un des deux Innaja. Cette reconstruction prosopographique permet l'analyse de l'impact des différentes étapes de la colonisation commerciale assyrienne en Anatolie sur la phratrie, ainsi que celle d'une répartition géographique de la famille. Le père d'Innaja étant décédé, son frère ainé est à la tête de la firme familiale dans la capitale assyrienne. Innaja représente la branche anatolienne de l'entreprise basée à Kanish. La femme d'Innaja est demeurée à Assur d'où elle exporte sa production personnelle d'étoffes vers l’Anatolie. Les documents s'ordonnent chronologiquement les uns par rapport aux autres, donnant ainsi la succession des évènements qui ont marqué la vie d'Innaja.
