This research on the symbolism of light owing to the fact that it is restricted to the iranian world, begins with a study of the geographical, historical and religious surrounding, joint to a study of the artistic evolution. How does symbolism appear (once its definition is posed) through this environment. Why does it comes? what kind of meaning appears. Does it appear through a consistent system, or through a system devoid of logic? does it exist relation between symbols, in this way how a symbole refer to another? an eventually, through this langage of image, how is it a whole conception of the world and of this unity that it posed.

Cette recherche sur le symbolisme de la lumiere etant limitee au monde iranien commence par une etude du milieu geographique historique et religieux, accompagnee d'une etude de l'evolution artistique. Comment le symbolisme apparait il (une fois que sa definition est posee) a travers cet environnement? pourquoi apparait il? se manifeste t-il a travers un systeme coherent, ou bien a travers un systeme depourvu de toute logique? existe t-il des relations entre symboles, dans cette hypothese comment un symbole est il relie a un autre? et finalement comment a travers ce langage de l'image c'est tout une conception du monde et de son unite qui est posee.
