Anguish is a preliminary datium of human's nature. It is also a conjunctural datium. The association of these two data leads to an overflow state which transforms both man's way of life and manner of communication. Therby, evolution is to be done in the way of seeking harmony with life by establishing communal cultural references. On the twentieth century art, the abstact art and the surrealism have anguish logics which include the negation of the present and the research in both future expression and culture. The actuel tendencies of art and social comportment seem to confirm this hypothesis.

L'angoisse est une donnee prealable a la nature humaine; elle est aussi une donnee conjoncturelle. La reunion de ces deux donnees aboutit a un etat de debordement qui transforme le mode de vie et de communication de l'homme. Depuis, l'evolution se fait dans le sens de la recherche d'une harmonie avec la vie en etablissant des reperes communautaires culturels. Sur l'art du xxeme siecle, l'art abstrait et le surrealisme ont des logiques d'angoisse qui incluent la negation du present et la recherche de l'expression et de la culture futures. Les tendances actuelles de l'art et le comportement social semblent confirmer cette hypothese.
