"essay of definition about the patterns of relation between states formations before the second intermediate period" is an investigation dealing with the formation of politic powers, localisated on the surburb of egyptian pharaonc state between 2500 and 1650 b. C. Our first purpose is an attempt to define the items of politic entities on the north (syria and palestina) and ont the south (nubia and eastern sudan) of egypt. Our second aim of investigation is to set up the schemes of economic, diplomatic and military relation patterns, often joined in the state formations on the antiquity. Our investigation is concluded by an examination about the models of domination, resulted from an imperialist and/or cololianistic politics, which egypt has undertaken with his northern and southern neighbours.

"essai de definition des modes de relation entre etats avant la deuxieme periode intermediaire" est une enquete portant sur la formation des pouvoirs politiques existant a la peripherie de l'etat egyptien pharaonique entre 2500 et 1650 av. J. -c. Notre premier objectif est une tentative en vue de definir les types d'entites politiques au nord (syrie et palestine) et au sud (nubie et soudan oriental) de l'egypte. Notre second axe de recherche est de proposer des schemas de relations economiques, diplomatiques et militaires, souvent indissociables chez les formations etatiques de l'antiquite. Notre enquete se conclut sur une analyse des types de domination, resultant d'une politique d'imperialisme et/ou de colonisation qu'entreprit l'egypte sur ses voisins septentrionaux et meridionaux.
