The aim of this dissertation is, first, the study of a theory of value suited for the premodern France and, after, to use it for explaining the economic conjuncture and the temporal dynamics of the ancient world. The new concept of circuit is used for the elaboration of an original approach. A temporal architecture is exposed in rupture with the old historiographical models.

L'objectif de cette thèse est d'étudier la théorie de la valeur dans le cadre de l'ancien régime et de l'utiliser pour expliquer la conjoncture économique et la dynamique temporelle ancienne. Le concept essentiel de circuit est repuis pour élaborer une approche originale. On peut ainsi présenter une architecture des temporalités qui rompt avec les anciens modèles historiographiques.
