Comparative analysis of the chronicles of the ancient lao kingdoms and confrontation of these data with the epigraphic and foreign sources. This work aims to demonstrate the credibility of the lao historical texts. It also shows the whole mechanims that drive to their composition.

Analyse comparative des chroniques des anciens royaumes lao (lan xang, vientiane, louang phrabang) et confrontation des donnees avec les sources epigraphiques et etrangeres. Ce travail vise a demontrer la credibilite des textes historiques lao. Il fait egalement apparaitre l'ensemble des mecanismes qui aboutissent a leur redaction.
