The analysis of the information written in the diary of heroard, the principal physician of louis xiii, from 1601 to 1628 regarding the preservation of the king's health. This information, thanks to its continuity, homogeneity and precision, forms a unique documentary basis of this period. Regrouped among categories : living patterns, personal hygiene, daily medical supervision, dietetics, these are recorded on chronological and statistical charts. The charts concerning alimentary hygiene lead to comments based on the quality, quantity and dietetics of louis xiii's nutrition. This analytical work is aimed at helping historical research forward into these fields by partly contributing to the critical edition of the diary.

Analyse des donnees du journal ecrit par heroard, premier medecin de louis xiii, de 1601 a 1628, relatives a l'hygiene de vie du roi. Ces donnees, du fait de leur continuite, de leur homogeneite et de leur precision, constituent un fond documentaire unique. Regroupees par theme : rythmes de vie, hygiene corporelle, surveillance medicale quotidienne, dietetique, elles sont traduites en tableaux chronologiques et statistiques accompagnes de commentaires. Ce travail d'analyse est destine a faciliter la recherche historique dans ces domaines en contribuant pour partie a l'edition critique du journal.
