It is the study of the soviet plastic art beginning from the birth of the second front-guard to the perestroika. The thesis estabishes the condition of the arts looked from the point of view of the conflictual relation between the two antithetic arts, which are the official art (representated by the socialist realism) and the front-guard or dissident art. Flash-back on the anterior periods (before and after the 1917 revolution).

C'est l'etude des arts plastiques sovietiques depuis la renaissance de l'avant-garde (deuxieme avant-garde) a la perestroika. Le travail etablit l'etat des arts vus sous le rapport dichotomique et conflictuel des deux formes d'art antithetiques que sont l'art officiel represente par le realisme socialiste, d'un cote, et l'art avant-gardiste dissident, de l'autre. Retrospective des periodes pre et post-revolutionnaires anterieures.
